PROGRAMME
SEPTEMBER 16TH 2008:
Terence's work is characterised by strong drawing and bold colour and is regarded for its composition. His landscapes are richly worked with influences ranging from Matisse to the Scottish Colourists. Numerous articles and illustrations have been published and he has works in public and private collections.
OCTOBER 21ST 2008:
Lewis studied at Moseley School of Art and now teaches at Stratford upon Avon Art College. Inspired by the Worcestershire countryside, he has exhibited his works, which are in collections in the UK, Australia and the USA.

Geoff is an artist, cartoonist and novelist. He specialises in illustration and has been a professional artist for twenty four years, painting illustrations for stamps, record sleeves, advertisements, and has worked for world snooker, UB40, Penguin Books and celebrities.
DECEMBER 9TH 2008:
Alan has been a successful professional artist since 1987, enjoying the challenges of working in a variety of media. He frequently works on large commissions including oil paintings and murals for the Saudi Royal Family plus works for Harrods and Libertys. He was guest artist for BBC's "Charlie's Army". He is a member of the RBSA, the Easel Club, Birmingham Watercolour Society and past chair of the Dudley Scoiety. He has exhibited widely.
MARCH 17TH 2009:
Brian is mostly self taught; drawing and painting came naturally. He is inspired by the atmospheric and light conditions that enhance the abstract quality that he seeks, either in busy streets or the Yorkshire Moors. He seeks to produce works that are fresh and a true expression of how he feels, influenced by the works of Edward Seago, Kurt Jackson and John Singer Sargent. He is a member of the Wolverhampton Art Society, Birmingham Art Circle, Watercolour Society, the Easel Club and the RBSA.
APRIL 21ST 2009:
Ron had no formal art training but has always been interested in art as a hobby, and now retired, drawing is is main interest. Ron is a member of Birmingham Watercolour Society, the Easel Club and the RBSA.

MAY 19TH 2009:
Antony left school at 16 and went into a commercial art studio, working for 23 years as a commercial artist. Whilst there, he studied fine art. He is now a full time painter in oils, and regularly exhibits around the country. Awards include the Davidson Award for best group of paintings at the RBA. He is a member of the RBSA and the RBA.
JUNE 16TH 2009:
Christine demonstrates for Windsor and Newton, specialising in watercolours. A member of the Birmingham Watercolour Society, she paints a variety of subjects - landscapes, still life, and portraits, also in pastels and acrylics. She is particularly interested in flowers and in light and colour rather than in detail. Many of her flower paintings have been published as greeting cards and fine art prints.
JULY 21ST 2009: Stephen will be talking about local authorities in the country who have their own public artist. Stephen provides advice and expertise to develop public art initiatives; designs and executes art within Dudley Borough. Dudley has been recognised at National level for its public art with awards like National Art Collections Fund for Outstanding Contribution to the Creation of Art 'Outide the Gallery'. Stephen worked for the BBC and has done various freelance work. He has degrees in Architecture and Fine Art. "His Special Show Busness Commissions".
